Mago / Tawang Trek, High Altitude Trek
Day 01 Arrival Guwhati Transfer to Nameri 4hrs drive over night halt

Day 02 Namery to Tembang 5hrs drive over night at Monpa Home stay.

Day 03 Tembang to Lagam Start early and Visit ancient Bunddhust monastery and start trekking through forests in a 5 hours steep climb Over night at Lagam Camp

Day 04 Lagam to Tungri Climb up for about 3hrs through forests and yak pastures with superb views of snow-clad peaks and the surrounding valleys. Camp overnight at Thingri.

Day 05 Tungri to Changla A day of hard trek with about 6hrs of steep climb through coniferous forests. The landscape will offer breathtaking views of the eastern Himalayas. Climb till just below Changla for overnight stay in tents.

Day 06 Changla to Potak You’ll start climbing early, crossing Changla Pass (3650 meters) where you can see breathtaking views of the eastern Himalayas. Then a steep climb to Poshing la Pass (3950 meters). From the pass, you’ll descend through forests of Juniper and Rhododendrons and cross a glacial stream before continuing your climb of another 6hrs to the alpine pastures of Potak (4200 meters) to camp at a beautiful spot near a stream.

Day 07 Potak to Lurtem Climb steadily for another 4 hours to reach Sela Pass (4550 meters), the highest point of this trek with majestic views of the Gorichen and Kangto peaks. Visit to alpine lake near the pass and then descend for about 2 hours into the valley and camp at Lorthum.

Day 08 Lurtem to Mago 6 hrs trek along the river valley through coniferous forests, crossing Yak huts along the way to reach a tributary of Tawang-chu river and camp overnight near Mago Village (3500 meters).

Day 09 5hrs trek along the Tawang-chu River and then a steep climb to Thimbu village (4200 meters). Overnight at campsite in Thimbu.

Day 10 Today will be a long 6 hours of trekking through forests, crossing the Tawang-chu River and its tributaries several times over log and suspension bridges to reach the China Bredge. Drive to Tawang for overnight stay in a clean and Comfortable Hotel.

Day 11 Whole day at Tawang Visit 400yrs old Tawang Monastry,Anni Gompa(Nanery),Urgyling Gompa Thr 6th Birth Place of Dalai Lama evening Local Market.

Day 12 After breakfast, drive to Bomdila 6hrs for overnight stay in hotel. Rest of the day will be free to explore around town and visit the markets.

Day 13 Drive to Guwahati 7hrs in Assam for overnight stay in standard hotel.

Day 14 Drive to Guwahati Airport 1hrs for a flight back home. Tour Ends.

Day 02 Drive to Dirang (5563 ft). 5hrs

Day 03 Trek from Dirang to Lubrang village (9309ft) 6 hrs

Day 04 Lubrang to Nagagigi (111723ft) 6 hrs

Day 05 Nagagigi-Yama Yakchung la - Dongching Pola pass (13200ft) Sangya(12759ft) 5 hrs

Day 06 Sangya to Chomjuk (13272ft) 5 hrs

Day 07 Excursion to Gaabura(13660ft) and back to Tashi camp.

Day 08 Chomjuk to Sugang.(12700ft) crossing 2 passes of Bukchungla (13100ft) and Gyapchungla (13300ft).7 hrs

Day 09 Sugang to Bangajang (13200ft) crossing Luguthem pass(12200ft) and Jangachemla pass (13000ft). 7hrs

Day 10 Bangajang to Jang (7800ft) 6hrs. Then drive to Tawang (9300ft). 3 hrs

Day 11 Visit to the 400 years old Tawang monastry, Ane Gompa (nunnery) then Urgeyling the birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama.

Day 12 Drive to Dirang. Overnite at Pemaling resort.

Day 13 Drive to Nameri eco camp.

Day 14 Drive to Guahati airport and fly out to Delhi

Trekking in the Adi Belt of Arunachal Pradesh
Altitude between 3000 to 4000 feet. Best season to visit is October to May.


Day 01. ALONG TO KOMSING 2- By surface 2hrs drive from Along to the suspension bridge and from there 2 hrs trekking to reach the Komsing village. This is a country of song and dance, of hard eager work, of fine and heart warming people. Komsing village of Adi tribe of Arunachal pradesh is very significant in the Arunachal history during the British rule in India. Overnight at Komsing village.

Day 02. KOMSING TO KARO :- This day you trek 3 hrs through the Adi mountains covered with tropical rain forest, interacting with the local Adi people to reach Karo village. Walking across the mountainous fields over looking the rivers is a wnderful experience. Overnight at Karo village.

Day 03. KARO TO SESEN :- On the day you trek 3 hrs to reach &.gi village, which is a wonderful village noted for beauty of its location. You trek through the virgin flora and fauna. The different culture this people ‘share is amazing which is totally different from the outside world. Overnight at Sesen village.

Day 03. SESEN TO PANGI :- Today the trekking takes 3 hrs from Sesen to Pangi village. The village is also noted for the beauty of its location. Taking a walk through the village is a delightful experience. Spend the evening in the warmth of enchanting folk songs and cultural events mesmerized in the companion of local rice beer.

Day 04. PANGI TO PANGIN :- By 3 hrs trekking through the roads cut through the mountains and again crossing the Siang river through the 300 meter long suspension bridge you finally make it to the nearest town i.e. Pangin. Located on the plateau of a mountain the panoramic View is breathtaking. Overnight at Pangin.

Day 05. PANGIN TO PASIGHAT :- Today you drive 100 km to Pasighat which is the district headquater and the oldest town in Arunachal Pradesh
